    How often do I need to report and remit the EHFs?

    All participants are required to report and remit on a monthly basis (report and payment received by OPEIC within 30 days of calendar month end). A NIL return must also be filed on time.

    If a participant is in good standing, with one year of consistent, on-time, and accurate fee reporting and payment, and their annual reported fees are less than $10,000 in the prior 12 months, they can request to be moved from monthly to quarterly reporting.

    For approved quarterly reporting accounts; the participant must remit in the month after the previous quarter:

    • January to March: Remit in April
    • April to June: Remit in July
    • July to September: Remit in October
    • October to December: Remit in January

    Quarterly reporting periods for eligible participants will be adjusted only on the participant's request. All requests can be sent to alona@productcare.org for approval. Once approved all requests will be implemented at the start of the following quarter.

    A failure to remit on time will result in the cancellation of quarterly remittance privilege.
