Welcome to the OPEIC’s Outdoor Power Equipment Recycling Program
The Outdoor Power Equipment Institude of Cananda (OPEIC) operates the approved product stewardship program for electric outdoor power equipment in British Columbia pursuant to the BC Recycling Regulation. The current stewardship plan, which expires in 2017, was developed by the Canadian Task Force of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI-CTF) and approved by the Ministry of Environment in 2012.
The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute of Canada (OPEIC) has drafted the British Columbia Outdoor Power Equipment Institute Stewardship Plan for Electric Outdoor Power Equipment (OPEI Stewardship Plan) for the period 2017 to 2021. The draft plan can be viewed here.
